The 6kW Hybrid Inverter designed for on-grid or off-grid use can seamlessly integrate solar, generator and/or grid power in both AC and DC coupled configurations.
It includes 2 MPPTs to which solar panels can be directly connected for DC coupling, or an existing solar inverter can also be easily paired to work with this hybrid inverter. It will allow you to use your solar panels with the battery backup during utility power failures when paired with SimpliPHI batteries to provide an efficient, easy-to-use energy storage system (it can also be paired with other batteries if needed).
The system is designed for any home or business and can be used in off-grid mode or setup for Time-of-Use applications, peak demand shaving and backup power. It also includes a transfer switch to allow the use of a backup generator, which allows it to be used as a UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) when used with a battery system, with or without solar power.
